Cutting Stamped/Printed Greetings Without Canvas Workspace Youtube Live 2nd August 2020

Updated: Aug 4, 2020

In tonights Youtube live I showed how you can cut stamped greeting directly on your ScanNCut machine without having to use any manual drawn in lines or Canvas Workspace.

This is one of the things I get asked how to do a lot. This should also work with printed greetings that you make on your computer.

Im using an SDX2200D machine, using the offset feature, on this series of machines (DX/SDX) the machine will add an offset to the existing design, so you will have two objects on your mat after you have applied the offset function, I explain how to delete the original.

On a CM model machines I dont think you have two objects after applying the offset.

I think from memory you will just see your offset only, so you can skip the delete step.

Everything else should be the same. I don't normally post the Sunday night Youtube lives here on my blog, but as this is one of the most requested things I get asked about I thought I would put it here on my blog with the video. I hope it helps.

I have shown an alternative method some time ago and that is here if you wish to watch the video. This one involves drawing in some lines manually.

Don't forget I now offer 1 to 1 Private ScanNCut Online lessons via Zoom you can find all the details Here and have a look at some of my recent testimonials Here
