Someone left me a comment on my Youtube channel, asking if I would show how to make quilt stencils, well to be perfectly honest I didn’t know what they were but after searching Google Ive found some.
They just appear to be a stencil like any other but with narrow drawing channels.
So Ive had a bit of a play this afternoon and Ive made this as my first attempt. I made my diagonal lines to thick, so I know I need to adjust them next time but the stencil still worked.
I am not a quilter but Ive drawn it out onto fabric with batting in-between and sewn on the drawn lines.
What do you think?
I am going to have a play with some more designs when I get time, but for anyone out there who quilts do you think this looks ok as a starting point.
