Ive posted about this site before they offer free fonts and designs weekly.
This week they have a Christmas themed SVG file that can be used with the ScanNCut
It expires in 59 days so even if you won’t use it now, grab it while its free so you have it for later.
You can find it Here
This is the bundle.
Once you’ve downloaded it the files contain various file formats including SVG which we can use with our ScanNCut machines.
Use it as a cut file with vinyl, card, paper etc but you can also use the designs as a draw file as Ive done here.
Ive not looked at all the designs but have looked at a few in Canvas and the text and snowflake extras seem to be grouped individually.
I made the design smaller in Canvas about 4.5 x 4.5 inch as it opened nearly 12 inch in size and downloaded it to my machine.
I opened the file on the SNC machine and positioned it top left of the mat and then saved it to the machine.
I deleted the grouped snowflakes and used a purple cheap felt tip pen to write and fill in the greeting just on copy paper as a test, once it was done I deleted the design and went back to the Home screen.
I then went back to the saved file and opened it (it will come onto the screen in the same place because I saved it after I had positioned it originally)
This time i deleted the grouped text, Inserted a green felt pen into my pen holder and the machine drew the snowflakes.
It looks like a hand stamped design.

Here it is again, this time drawn without the fill and then Ive coloured it in with alcohol markers and added wink of stella over the top.
So its about 9 weeks to Christmas and I don’t know where the year has gone, in my house we are about to have our last school holiday before the Christmas break and historically this has always been the time when I start to think about Christmas list making and making my cards for friends and family.
This morning I received an email from Fontbundle telling me about their free font of the week Here
I thought it looked nice and decided to use it with my Christmas card I wanted to make a card using a stamp Ive had for years and use the SNC to cut out my stamped images and write my greeting.
For anyone interested the stamp is by Funstamps and its called Scribbled Snowman.
I made my SNC file with the Brother font converter and opened it in Canvas I decided in the end only to use the “Happy” from the free font and use a SNC font for the “Christmas” but it could all be done using SNC fonts. Once in the machine I set it to colour fill the word this gives the appearance of a stamped greeting.
Ive set up a template on the SNC so that it can write two greetings at a time for me whilst I am doing the colouring in of the snowman.
This is what Ive come up with and think its rather cute.
So this is the last in the series of three Christmas shaped cards. I don’t have a Big Shot or Cuttlebug, so I used my score board to add score lines to the White end sections of my cracker, hope you like it.
