Sewing Group Project

Ok so I run a sewing group, we have only been going a few weeks and this was the little project I showed last night.

In the hoop bow bunting

I bought this embroidery in the hoop design file off the internet and thought I would try it out. This banner will eventually have about 7 of these bows but here are the first three.

I need to get some ribbon to string them together but I thought I would post a quick photo of them so far.

Embroidery In the hoop gone wrong!

Well tonight I decided I would try a small in the hoop project, I read all the instructions twice and still managed to get it wrong!

I put my backing on the back of the hoop to soon and stitched it completely to the front, so instead of having a key ring holder that should slide over the top of the key I have just got a flat keyring. What makes it worse is that I duplicated the design so that I could do two at once.

Oh well you learn by your mistakes they say. Well here they are anyway.
