My Stampin Up Monthly Host Code is a way for me to reward anyone who places a qualifying order with me if enough people use it in the month. So please use the correct code at checkout in online shop (it changes on the 1st of every month)
Hi, Ive been having a play with my new stitched shaped dies from Stampin Up, so with having a ScanNCut Ive never seen the need to buy dies in the past, but I am mindful that not everyone who watched my video has a SNC machine and I also liked the look of the stitching on these dies.
So in todays quick tip video I am just giving you a look at what comes in the set and showing you how Ive been using mine, ive not had a lot of time to play with them as they have only just arrived but I can see that I will get a lot of use from them.
The pack has 4 each of squares, circles and ovals but I was also able to make rectangles from the square dies to make them even more versatile. They are available to buy in my online shop, the link to them is below.

Hi Everyone, Ive been having so much fun recently making party invitations, if you didn’t see the Snow White project I posted the other day using a Disney activation card it will be under this post here on my blog.
The Disney activation cards are still on Buy 1 Get 1 Free from Makers Superstore, so I thought I would show you my Toy Story party projects that I made from my activation card. (Just for clarification these are not affiliate links Im just letting you know about their offer.)
Don’t forget these activation cards work on all models of ScanNCut machine, so anyone can use them. Here are some ideas from Brother how to use this project card.
This is what I made, everything with the exception of the party invite which I got free off the net and the red star (which is on the SDX2200D machine, has been made from the activation project card.

This is a home decor project card but Ive made all my projects from card stock, I drew Jessie, Woody and Bullseye which will be used as colouring pages, I scanned the drawn designs into the ScanNCut using scan to cut data and I was able to make offset matting layer as these are not provided on the activation card. I then cut each of the designs and added the matting layers for my characters which I hot glued onto kebab skewers, I made the box using a score board and added a small star and the name NOAH is a font on my machine the finished centre piece stands about 18″ x 11″
Buzz Lightyear and the words “To infinity and beyond” were cut in vinyl, I laminated a piece of blue card to make a place mat and stuck the vinyl designs on the outside.
I cut another star which I hot glued onto the paper straw.
The possibilities are endless, just let your imagination run wild and have fun. I hope you like my party projects.
I have a few more activation cards so if you would like me to show you more projects, leave me a comment and I will see what I can come up with.
Thanks
Morning all I thought I would let you know that Makers Superstore has a Buy 1 get 1 Free on their Disney activation cards at the moment, these cards can be used with any ScanNCut machine (CM or DX/SDX) models.
This is what I made with my Snow White & Belle card. Ive used mine for a little girls party. I created the invitation card using the apple and bird design and used the ScanNCut to write the “You’re Invited” in black pen.
I used the bookmark which is on the activation card and I cut strips of card to form hinges, I cut the bookmark 4 times added the paper hinges and ceated this 3D centre piece.
I also made a banner using the dwarf, apple, bird and some circles and decorated straws with a little bluebird to pull it all together.
Ive cut all mine in card, but these design could be cut in vinyl and used on t-shirts or home decor items. This is what I love about owning a ScanNCut machine, we can take some simple designs and turn them into anything and create unique and personalised projects.
I think they turned out super cute, let me know what you think and if you have used the activation cards. Don’t forget these cards can be used on any model ScanNCut machine.
If you don’t own any of them yet go and grab yours while they are on offer at makers superstore! and have fun creating your own projects.
