Well Ive been doing some heavy lifting this week and Ive now got Tendonitis, and very painful it is too.
Ive got strapping on it from the hospital but it is still sore.
On a more positive note I designed this bag myself using the Pazzles Inspiration software then I printed it out as a pattern, its only a simple shape so not really difficult.
My little girl saw somethinf similar in Next a week or so ago and I decided I would try and make one for her, its to keep her dancing shoes in.
Anyway I like how its turned out and so does she.
I wanted to cut some vinyl tonight so I decided on this dandelion design, Ive put it on the wall at the end of my sewing desk, but as its vinyl it can be moved and used again if I get fed up with it.
The first photo is showing it in its place the second is a close up showing the detail, Ive cut it in baby blue Pazzles Inspiration vinyl.
My little girl is going to her friends birthday party at weekend, we have bought her a present but I thought I would make her a bag with her initial on as well, so here it is.
I cut the fabric initial and the felt flowers on the Pazzles Inspiration and for anyone who has the cutter and has not tried fabric cutting yet I ironed Bondaweb Ultra to the back of the fabric and the felt.
I used the Pazzles settings for stiffened fabric and the regular cutting mat.
I cut the fabric once and the felt twice and they peeled away from the cutting mat easily. All I had to do then was iron them onto the front of the bag and zigzag for extra security.
The linning is cupcake fabric Ive had a while so I cut the ‘J’ from the same fabric so it matches.
