Welcome To My Blog

You may remember I made a satchel for my daughter several weeks ago from Cath Kidston oilcloth, well I bought far too much so I said I would make another one for me because if I didn’t use the fabric it would get wasted and it was too expensive for that.

So what else do you do on the hottest two days of the year so far, well you make an oilcloth bag at least thats what I’ve done and with a good amount of swearing too I would add. Lol

I switched the colours around on this so they are not identical but they have the same pale blue and white spot lininng.

I am going to use it as my everyday bag I think although in reality I don’t always use a bag everyday, sometimes I just grab my phone and keys.

Its a cross body so hands free for shopping etc.

Its made from a butterick pattern No B4147 and Cath Kidston Oilcloth, with Rose & Hubble cotton lining.

As some of you know I’ve had a rubbish week and I’ve been keeping myself busy, I have no idea why I felt the need to make a child’s dress but never the less I did.

I think it’s turned out super cute all I have to do now is find a buying for it.
