Some of you may know that I was having trouble yesterday opening an embroidery file that I bought off the internet.
I managed to sort out the problem and stitch out the file.
The pink case in the photo is the design stitched at it’s normal size and I’ve added a pair of glasses to give you an idea of scale. The glasses fit but it’s a snug fit.
The other two have been stitched at 20% bigger so should be able to take a regular shape pair of sun glasses.
I bought the design Here

I cut this design the other day it’s one of the built in quilt blocks in the SNC, it’s very wet and rainy here today so I’ve just made it into a nice bright cushion.

So today I’ve recorded a video showing how I cut a quilt pattern design from the built in patterns on the ScanNCut.
I chose the design and used the SNC to draw my 1/4 inch seam allowance and then went on to cut the fabric pieces.
I used spray starch to stabilise the fabric the video will be posted in a couple of weeks but I thought I would show the finished project once I had turned the block into a cushion cover. I only show how to choose and draw the seam allowance and cut the pieces in the video and as I am not really a quilter I had to try and work out how they all went together, so don’t be to hard on me with my finished design.
