I thought I would try out using my embroidery machine on stretch fabric so I decided I would do some personalised baby bibs.
I have added this one to my shop on Creative Stores to see if they sell.

I needed a small doorstop for my laundry door so I made this quick little one this morning. Ive added an embroidery design which was free from bunny cup.com and as it was a quick project Ive used garden string as a tie.
Ok so now my daughter wants one so here is hers, the words say “girls just wanna have fun” but I got my placement slight wrong it should have been lower!
Ok I like doing freehand embroidery but I have to admit its not my thing, I think its just too untidy having said that it could well be the way I do it!
I much prefer the accuracy of machine embroidery and the neatness but I will carry on doing both and see where it takes me.
This is a shopping tote or bag for life Ive made today I cut the appliqué out by hand and then used freehand embroidery to attach it to the front of the bag. I have used machine embroidery for the text using my Janome Memory Craft 9900.
