In this video I show how to make a simple envelope style cushion cover. My cushion cover has some appliqué detail on the front which was cut with the ScanNCut, I have covered how to cut and applique fabric in previous videos Here and Here
Todays video is just the basics of how I calculate the fabric size for my cushion and tips on how to put it together.
A section of my video at the end showing how I use my overlocker to tidy up the edges of my fabric didn’t record but I do explain in the video that you can use pinking shears, an overcasting or zig zag stitch to achieve this.
This is the finished cushion.

You may remember I posted a Father Christmas card on the 22nd July made from a cutting file from Paul Bailey, well Ive used the cutting file and made it bigger to cut the same design in felt with the ScanNCut.
This is what Ive made with it, Cute I think?
This is a simple envelope style cushion, Ive had a few request for more sewing projects/tutorials so for the new sewers out there I may make a video on how to make this style of cushion if anyone is interested.
I had a little bit of time to myself today so I thought I would post this ScanNCut Canvas project. Ive done videos on splitting fonts in the past but these (Mr & Mrs) projects are still popular and can be used for Gift ideas or even for card making.
The video is Here hope you like it.
