I love wreaths and I love making them, both of these were made some time ago and hang in my house. They were both made on my Pazzles inspiration cutter which I have now sold and replaced with a Brother Scan n Cut and the same thing can be made on this machine too.
I cut a 12inch circle from chipboard but you could buy a pre cut shape, I then cut lots of flowers in various sizes and stuck them to the frame. I added stickles glitter glue and buttons to decorate.
This is made from paper.
This is made from fabric.
There are lots of flower shapes in the scan n cut machine, that could be used to make a similar project, but if you want something a little more individual I am going to show you how to make your own flower shapes using the Brother Scan n Cut Canvas software in this Sundays ( 30th March) video.
Here is the little wreath I’ve made from the flowers I will show you how to make on Sunday.
I cut far to many and have lots left over.
Here is the video.
Ive been wanting to make this for ages so yesterday I bought a 12″ rattan wreath and cut all my strips of fabric up into 2.5″ & 3″ x 10″ i used four different fabrics.
Plain red, red and white gingham, plain white and red and white check, I folded each piece in turn in half lengthwise and then tied them in a knot around the wreath so it was packed full.
I then went round all the fabric and used pinkiing shears to chop off the ends, I love how it turned out and it will hang in my kitchen when I get a hook for it today.
