Well my daughter was kindly given a Janome Sew Mini sewing machine and as a first project we made a monster that was a free sewing kit with Sew Hip magazine.
There were tears at one point when she couldn’t get the zigzag mouth how she wanted it and she went off line whilst trying to sew his applique tie onto the front, we also forgot in the chaos to put his ears on!.
The stitches across his neck and the buttons were done on my machine, but everything else she did on the Janome.
I think she did great the next project is bunting for her friend Jade with applique initials on each piece of bunting.
