Sewing Notions Makeup Bag

When we went out looking for a new sewing/embroidery machine last week my daughter saw this fabric its Makower and it was about £11 per meter anyway I found a fat quarter on eBay and made this with it for her.

It has two pockets inside and button and tape measure ribbon to finish it off.

Rustic Heart

I love making little hanging hearts and dog, Ive made various colours and sizes which Ive blogged about.

But I thought my painted box which is now stood in the hall under my newly painted clock needed a little lavender heart to hang off the handle.

This one took no time at all i just cut out the heart shape with pinking shears, filled it with lavender and used so rustic string as a hanger.

Ive added  cream bow as the one that hangs from the clock has a cream bow on and I thought it would tie the two together.

Handcream Pouch

Well this is my first project of 2012. I have contributed money to a give for someone but I wanted to give them a little something from me personally.

So I have made a little pouch to hold a L’Occeitane hand cream, it has felt lining and is made from Clarke & Clarke fabric. I will make a gift box and card too.
