Welcome To My Blog

Over the last few weeks Ive been concentrating on showing you how to make shaped cards using ScanNCut Canvas, I still have a few more ideas which I will post over the next few weeks but this week I thought I would do a sewing project.

In this weeks video I show you how to sew this simple purse/wallet for holding all those store loyalty cards we seem to collect these days.

You only need small scraps of fabric and some kind of fastening, i.e. velcro, button, popper etc.

Ive not done a sewing project for a while and to be honest I thought I had posted a tutorial on how to make these box corner type bags, it was only when someone contacted me before Christmas asking where my tutorial was for some I had on my blog that I realised I had not done one.

So I hope you like it, this is what I made.

I had a small bottle of Baylis and Harding shower wash to give to someone as a gift so I thought I would use my Stampin Up envelope punch board to make a box.

I worked out the dimensions based on the bottle size and this is what I came up with.

Finished Size is 6.25 x 2 x 2inches  (height to bow is 5inches)
