Aligning Multi-Layer Vinyl

So this is a follow on tutorial to the Vinyl Decal Cutouts I posted on the 22nd June.

In this one I show you how to create registration points to be able to layer up your vinyl correctly.

Vinyl cutouts using Inkscape

This weeks video is how to make vinyl cutouts for layering up your vinyl decal projects.

Cutout Card for ScanNCut

I saw something similar to the white part of this card on the internet I think it was a spellbinders die shape. Anyway I decided I would make my own in Inkscape, so I drew the shape and used the create tiled clone tools with rotate as I have shown in a video recently and created my own design.

I duplicated the design and used the path dynamic offset to create the outside of the shape bigger and when I put the two together I got this cut shape that has lift up sections.

I also made the scollop circle in Inkscape again I’ve shown how to do this In a video but it’s basically using the clone with rotate options again.
