Ive had my ScanNCut three weeks now and in a previous post I showed how I had cleaned and refreshed my cutting mat, so today I turned my attentions to the cutting blade.
The blade although small is very sharpe so please be careful when cleaning or changing it.
I unscrewed the barrel of the blade housing and inside all around the blade were small particles of debris, as you can see here in the photo.
The blade works by rotating within the housing as the mat moves in and out of the machine, so debris like this this will collect from time to time and could affect how your machine cuts. So its a good idea to check your blade regular.
