I thought I would try and cut hessian today with the ScanNCut I jumped straight it and went for it. I used the settings that I used recently for cutting felt and it cut a dream.
Regular mat, regular blade 7, pressure 9 , speed 5 , HeatNBond ultra ironed onto the back, with the paper backing removed and HNB side down onto the mat. I cut in one pass.
The photo shows the band for the hat and two flowers. The fabric was cut with regular mat, regular blade 4, pressure 4 , speed 5 and HNB again.
This is what I made with it, I’ve not used the flowers yet.

A friend of mine does wedding styling and she asked me if I could personalise the hessian bunting that I make. I said I could and made her a sample and she has got me a commission.
Heres a close up.
This was the sample I made the flags are smaller as that’s my regular size.
