Grafix Clear Craft Plastic

Writer: Applelover53Applelover53

Any of you who live in the US may be familiar with Grafix products, I’ve used their chipboard, metallic card stock and plastic on and off for years.

I was commissioned to make some hessian/burlap bunting, three lots to be exact 30 flags in total but the customer wanted this box type shape rather than my usual triangle type, so I decided I would make a template and used the ScanNCut to cut to cut it for me from Grafix plastic.

I have cut hessian with my SNC but didn’t want to cut these with it it’s quite messy, hessian so I drew around the template and cut them with scissors.

The letters were all cut on the SNC I used calico backed with a Bondaweb and some had HeatnBond.

This is the product I am talking about

I used my regular blade set at 10, pressure 4, speed 3 and did 2 cuts, it cut perfectly I left the blue plastic protective layer on both sides whilst cutting.

Here is the first lot of bunting
