In my last post I said we had been doing more work on the kitchen, because of all the trouble we had building this house when we moved in at new year we only had a temporary kitchen.
I knew my layout but I had planned to have white or cream gloss units and a black granite worktop to tie in with the black border tiles that run all round the perimeter of the cream floor tiles.
Anyway things don’t always work out how you plan them do they?
This is what Ive ended up with free standing oak units, we managed to buy some matching doors and we had wall carcase’s made to turn them into wall cupboards.
The photos show the kitchen so far its still not finished we are using a temporary bathroom sink we had spare and only have plain wood worktops.
The space under the sink in the photo is for a Belfast sink and next to it a freestanding dishwasher, where the bin is at the moment.
We don’t have any tiles on the walls yet and you can see the wiring for the under cabinet lighting.
photo one is what you see when you come through the single door from the hall so looking right to left
photo two is the next view looking towards the front kitchen window and right hand side of the kitchen, as you can see I have not made my blind yet I cannot make my mind up about its colour.
photo three is the next shot looking to the front and the left hand side of the kitchen.
photo four is looking back from the kitchen window towards the hall single door and the double doors that go through to our lounge.
I need to work out what colour scheme I want to go with for my blind and accessories.
