ScanNCut Patchwork

Hi everyone, Ive been itching to share this project with you since before Christmas, as you may know I got the fabric mat and fabric auto blade a few months ago for my SDX2200D and Ive loved experimenting with them. I think Im becoming a little obsessed! (they are compatible with any DX/SDX machine.)

If you follow my blog and Youtube channel you will have seen some of the fabric projects I've been making recently well, I decided I would cut some half square triangles as a test and apply a 1/4 inch drawn seam allowance and I got a bit carried away.

Once I started cutting I decided I better make something so I cut lots of triangles in various colours and started sewing them all together, I gave some of you a very quick sneak peek of some of the sewing in a Youtube live several weeks ago.

Makers Superstore asked if I would do a blog post for them showing the process, so there is a step by step tutorial with photos on their blog. (no video I'm afraid).

Here are some photos I took while I was making it, but please head over to Makerssuperstore.com choose "blog" and look for the full tutorial.

I absolutely love how this turned out and its been gifted to friends who have recently moved house and is now taking pride of place on a comfy chair by their fire.

I hope you love it as much as I do and that you will have a go with the Fabric Mat & Fabric Auto Blade which are available to purchase from the Makers Superstore website. The mat has 21% off at the moment, so grab it while you can.

Do you need help with your ScanNCut Machine, If so I now offer 1 to 1 private online classes Here
