I received a Sizzix tumbler die for christmas and as I had some fat quarters I thought I would have a go at making a lap quilt as a gift for someone.
The Sizzix die is 4″ finished height it has a quarter inch seem allowance built in and I cut it using my cuttlebug.
Here it is so far, the photos show the die, the fat quarters, some of the fabric cut out and how it looks so far.
I think I will add two borders one about 1 inch and a second at about 3 inch and I have fabric left from the fat quarters which I think I will make into bias binding to bind it.
Ive finished the quilt here it is with borders in dark fabric and binding made up from all the fabrics used in the main body of the quilt.
