I am making a quilt at the moment well two actually from a Moda charm pack call Its A Hoot. I am also using a Moda solid fabric in cream which I have cut into 5″ squares the same as the charm pack.
Here is what I have done so far on the first quilt.
This has 40 squares in total and I have started quilting it I am using a stretch zigzag stitch that is on my machine and I have altered the width, its giving a nice decorative pattern.
So far I have done all the vertical lines over the joins and I have started the horizontal lines.
Once this is done I am going to the fabric shop to see what I can find to put around the edges.
